Moldavian Feast at Ceaun
Name of the day in Romanian: Ospăț Moldovenesc la Ceaun
- Moldavian tochitură from the cauldron
- Moldavian sarmale and homemade pârjoale
- Moldavian borș with smoked meat, soured with sauerkraut brine
On 25 October, at Ceaun we're cooking Moldavian-style: tochitură (a pork stew) from the cauldron with a fried egg, polenta and cheese, sarmale (cabbage rolls) simmered down on a bed of smoked meat, homemade pârjoale (meat patties) and borș with smoked meat, soured with sauerkraut brine – and for dessert, a salty cheese pie.
From 12:30, with live music, at Restaurant Ceaun, Str. Maica Domnului nr. 54, Bucharest.
The day is already selected in the form. If you phone, tell us you're coming to Moldavian Feast at Ceaun and how many of you there are.
